How to start in Windowed mode

Morning all,
Could someone please advice me on how to run this game in windowed mode.
I can't get the -windowed steam command to work and I can't seem to find the .cfg file.

Any help would be appreciated. thanks

    You can set it to run Windowed in the in-game video options. This will leave the border though.

    Is a menu mod that adds a lot of functionality, like a windowed no border option.

    The problem was I couldn't open the game as my monitor would go out of sync.
    I did find a way to change the resolution to 1920x1080 without going in game though:

    Windows key + R to run window

    Type this and press enter: %appdata%\Natural Selection 2


    open up system_options.xml with notepad and edit the x and y resolutions (for example 1280x1024)
