Anyone else kept thinking how cool would be if the exos looked as these concepts from the new starship troopers movie?

I am looking forward to see it now.

It's CG and the characters all look pretty anime. And the standard marine armour looks far too similar to a spartan suit (Halo).
But yeah, will probably be better than the last two(easiest challenge ever).

i was just about to say these helmets look like the O.R.C. suit helmets from the Appleseed mangas... and then i read... shinji aramaki (appleseed movie director) <.<
and their marauder units look like landmates
Naw, that's Vegemate.
That trailer looks like absolutely laughable dogpoo. It's like a parody of all military-themed movies ever.

So, yah.
If you haven't read the book, I would suggest it. It's Heinlein, so a good portion of it is him, none too subtly, spouting off about his military ideals. Honestly though, it's a great book, and the power armor is pure awesome.
I would rather see the exos looking something like this

Something like that would be badass to have.
But I'll reserve my thoughts until the concept art for the Exos is released
And that's why they are different, Heinlein is still entertaining to read generally (Sixth Column is more like trying to read Ayn Rand).

then why did they make this athrosity "Ultramarines"?
Give it to Cameron. + 500 mil of fazooles. Make something epic.
And lolfighter if you're interested in an non-Heinlein book on the same topic check out "Old Man's War".
What if Games Workshop made a 40k video game based off the table game? How awesome would it be to have a digital table, have a pool of possible bunkers / objects / foliage, properly position your army, then allow users to play move by move / turn by turn.
I think the reason why this game doesn't exist is pretty obvious... everyone would play that instead of paying $60 for 5 little pieces of plastic.
But of course you're right. It'd cut into their "sell small bits of plastic for impudent amounts of money" business.
