Problem Downloading

well, the problem is I deleted my install file for good, thinking nobody'll need it and a friend of mine asked me to burn NS for him, the problem is whenever my d/l reaches 50% of the whole file, it stops. What's the problem? I have a 56k connection right now because my DSL went down since i have an extremely crappy service. If anybody can help me, thanks.

    Try'ed a Download manager???

    get right, flashget etc.......

    Dont know if they'r any good since I havent used any of in like year or so.

    he is probaly using one , you download it fubared imo , start it again

    problem comes when u shut ur PC down the wrong way , and the registery thinks the file size is bigger than the file size on ur HDD.

    Start it again and it should be fine if u disconnect from the net before you shutdown your PC
