Always crashing 30 seconds after I join a game

I launch the game join a server and then shortly after regardless of what I do, I could be standing still, I crash.

I had this problem on 215 and its still happening on 216, sometimes it stops completly from happening and wont happen for few days. Doesnt matter If I restart computer or delete and reinstall the game.

Similar what I sometimes get.

Every time I join a game I can move around for maybe 10-25 seconds then the game freezes, I can access the menu though and join another server. It happens for the first 2-3 servers I join. It doesn't matter if I join other servers or the same one over and over, it always happens 2-3 times. It just started for me in 216 though.

But if it is somewhat of a graphical issue, I read that they discovered some killer physical improvements last nigh, could fix it.

Let's just say, without spoiling it, my old C2D (oldest play test rig) is a much happier PC in build 217.


Also could both f you post your specs here?

Just compared my laptop to the minimum system requirements and my graphics card is a tad below, everything else is above. I still think it's a bit to much since I have everything on the lowest/off & running it on 800x600 and still getting a lot of fps lag. Could just be a bad graphics card along with Beta lag, wouldn't surprise me.

My other computer is well above the recommended specs so I can't wait to try it when I get home, currently on vacation :3.

i fixed it i deleted my ns2 cache (appdata-roaming-natura selection 2-cache) but it came back after 2 days, the first freeze was while in dc as a gorge and trying to drop hydras and it froze and after that it started to freeze 30 secs into the game afterwards. So now i have to delete my cache again.
