Fade Vortex

Hello!

So I've been playing and testing with vortex for a little bit and here's what I think should be fixed/changed about the ability.

I like the idea of giving the fade something to 'nerf' the marines so to say. To give him and his team a little survivability. I tested with it a bit and I saw it blocked the LMG shots, but it does not block any pistol shots (is this intended? It was a little weird to me). Either way, if a marine ran through the vortex and got the debuff, he could not deal me any damage, which I think is right, but it was a little weird just seeing him run through it not having a real disadvantage, because during that time he is also invulnerable.

I think the vortex should somehow incapacitate marines for a short while, limiting their movement. For instance:
Reducing their movement speed by, say, 30%.
Teleporting the marine back to the original vortex location when the debuff ends (if you do this then the cooldown has to be increased to make sure you can't infinitely vortex people).

The way I see it the vortex should be used to block a hallway or render a marine incapable of finishing off a fellow Kharaa. Currently the marine just runs through, is invulnerable and keeps trying to hunt down your teammate. By adding a movement restriction it will allow the fade to reduce the chance that the marine will be able to catch the alien.

To prevent vortex from become too powerful, right now, blocking all those bullets it is quite a formidable ability if you put it in a doorway. It might be better to let it soak up 75% of all the ammunition flying through, instead of blocking everything.
Or make it bend the ammunition, screwing up the marines' aim instead of rendering all the shots useless.

This might also make it a little easier to balance, because it gives you more numbers to work with. If it's too strong, decrease the value, if it's too weak you can increase it again.

Just my train of thought :)

Cheers,
