Game stuck at loading screen

Hi,
Recently just got the game, but so far, i've been unable to create/join any games.
When I try, it gets stuck on 'loading' forever. Little blue wheel keeps spinning, game is never listed as 'not responding', but it never gets past that stage.

I've turned all settings down to minimum, turned of multicore rendering, but its still not working.
Don't have an error report, and i'm not sure if anyone else has this problem.

Any help?

Have you tried waiting several minutes? It loads for me but very slowly.

It seems to 'load' for nearly half an hour when I tested.
Is that supposed to be normal?

No. At the first load it does take a while. Shader generating or something.
Can you open the console and look if something goes wrong?
And don't forget to verify game integrity over steam.

Wont load for me either now. Since this patch anyway :( The blue wheel starts spinning then it freezes.. I let it go for about 15 minutes and just gave up.

I'm having the same problem since the new patch, it gets stuck on Loading then i hit Alt-Ctrl-Del and it says ns2 is not responding.... does anyone have a solution pleas?

Have you tried to open a lan game?

Same problem here. It gets stuck at "Loading Shaders 50%" the blue wheel freezes too!
