No, it's 'only' three hours long, but I'll watch first FotR and then the Towers in a special midnight premiere my local (and most other) cinemas have put up.
ehh il take it we can tell people where they can get the movie now? but anyway.
The first one was amazin and this one looks to blow it out the water, but this Xmas il be getting Band Of Brothers box set , OMG it is so good (donno if you have seen it in US but its a WW2 film for TV)
at least a WW2 film had SOME british people in it for once

Whoever hasn't watched the extended version of FotR, they should. It's quite excellent. It captures the book better and has some delicious extra content on two more DVDs.
I'm borrowing the 4-CD set from a friend. I've watched about two or three hours on the making of it. (Sets, costumes, props, CG.) I saw the movie in the theater, but I'll probably watch it again on the DVD.

first of all, i don't know what "liberals" are like in Europe, but these freaks are almost certainly conservatives in a US context. and TTT has strong environmentalist overtones, not exactly popular sentiments with american conservatives
the special trailer that was shown in theaters after FoTR later on is hidden on the second disk of the extended. go to the scene selections, and click on the very last scene number (48, fan club credits, i think). the cursor/hightlight will now shift to the left to select that scene. move back to the right, though, to the numbers-- now you will be able to move down below the 48, to a hidden image of the two towers... select that and it's party time think it's HERE too
also, hi! I'm Jinx, my name is not taken from #@$! @ Halle Berry, i'm male, and I MAP for Action HL
Thankyou for reviving this topic to embarrass half of the people in America.

I'm not sure why Jinx has activated this topic again, but the assumption that the movement to have the title of the movie changed is not headed by Conservatives. No, I don't personally know the individuals responsible but I hold the Conservative viewpoint and I despise everything this group is trying to do. As I explained in my earlier post, anyone trying to involve the Federal Government to change the title of a movie because it would hurt the feelings of a minority of individuals falls into a position directly opposite of Conservative thought. Hence, the sentiment that these people are Liberals. Or, if you ask them, "Progressives" (blah).
I'm also not sure where this "anti-environment" rhetoric comes from but I'd guess it was a public school teacher who lost their T.V. remote and has to watch CNN all the time. I'd recommend gathering your information on your own rather than borrowing someone elses thoughts.
I already posted my opinion about the political status of these jerks some pages ago, but tell me Spooge, if you don't know why Jinx bumped this topic, then why do you bump it again by repeating something you say yourself you already told us?
Also, a man who calls people who try to conserve gasoline "tree hugging nuts" shouldn't complain about being called "anti-envi"

thought id bring this topic back from the dead, seeing as the film is already out now...i suggest e-mailing the people that made that site and give them your honest opinion of their stupidity...i know i have but in a civil way of course...here is what i wrote:

And, in the extras, the whole perspective thing about how they dealt with the hobbits is really interesting.
