Like the title says, i'd like that when a power node is destroyed in a room then its just dark, no red lights turning after a while. i dont know if its possible, but can someone try, i'd think it add to the atmosphere of the game a little

I think most modders would agree not to publicly release mods which can be easily used as cheats. Even if cheating in NS2 is easy, at least it still involves some work, which will disencourage the avarage script kiddie.

It'll be impossible to do these things easily upon 1.0. Consistency checks and anti-cheat measures will prevent most modifications to the game. Things like this will actually require a separate mod to be run on the server and clients.

It's a pretty easy thing to do, check my sig for emergency light colors. Just use 0\255, 0\255, 0\255 (black) for the power off color. Although pitch black still isn't very good, because all the texture lights are still on when the lights go off so it looks weird.
Power-down in Sanity does this, and I can easily say it creates an unfair advantage for alien vision. In NS2 it would create a slight balance issue if this was all you modified.

You don't like the dance club lights either?
:)
