Mod Beans is a Natural Selection 2 modding collective. Originally conceived while I was working on Proving Grounds back in February 2012, the idea began to take on more significance when I spoke to MCMLXXXIV (original creator of combat mod), while he was away on his world tour. He thought it was a good idea, and agreed to join up.
Since then we have added more members to the 'core' team.
Members
Soul Rider
MCMLXXXIV
Jim West
Jibrail
Double Hex
RSomnambulist
Phenakist
There are more people I have spoken to, and we are still looking for modellers, and particularly artists to join the team. Oh and definitely anyone who can develop php websites spanning multiple subdomains :)
Aims
We are trying to set up an open modding collective, where the whole community contributes to mods, but we will have a central 'core' team, that looks after and develops most of the mods. We are trying to create a Valve-like working atmosphere among the core team, where we work on each others mods and our own mods as we want. Hopefully this will provide us with the ability to keep mods moving forwards and being updated, even if a member decides to go off and travel the world for a year :)
Despite this being in progress for quite some time, it has been punctuated mostly by myself and MCMLXXXIV being offline, so we are now only just getting this all together. As such, you will find a lot of things still need updating, the whole project is very much a work in progress. We haven't even had a get together with all the team yet, so please forgive us if we don't yet have full knowledge of each others ideas and systems.

We have a wiki, forum and twitter account (details in my sig) and also a blog, which can be found on the website. (A very big thanks to Argathor for the hosting!)

As we begin to shift into the next phase of the Mod Beans cycle, we hope to be able to produce some fun games for you to play, and at the same time, create a community of modders, dedicated to wringing the most out of the Spark engine.
If you have anything to offer us, art skills, modelling ability, maps for our mods, let us know, of course, donations to the pay my rent fund are greatly appreciated too!!
I've been working on this instead of looking for a job, a man must get his priorities right after all!
We will update this thread with any news and try to answer any questions you throw at us. Your offers of support and assistance are greatly appreciated :)
Here is a screenshot of our very poorly designed website. However, in my defence, I am not, and do not claim to be, a website developer.

If you can save us from the poorly designed website, definitely let me know!!
