217 gameplay video from IGN

EXO at 8:50 :)
Some things i noticed so far:
- Red Hive/CC icon is still in(more transparent) , but can probably be turned off
- Loads of Help text/pictures
- Ragdolls seem heavier? (although i still saw an onos fly )
- it looks sexy
- power icon next to location, shows if area is powered
- no more ugly build bar ( now shows progress ring on builder tool and on the info text bar above building )
- CC/Hive health bar looks alot better
- tram has had a makeover (alot brighter)
- enemy players show a name plate, friendly players show a health bar/name plate
- new voiceovers are in ( awesome )
- vents are yellow on minemap
- Parasite gives your weapon a cool yellow glow, no more dot next to your health.
- 2nd command station has a "locked sign"if another CC is in use ( not sure if it was like that)
- Exo has 390 armor ( shows armor 1 in red, not sure what that means, maybe its capped for exo )
- Exo has "hood" that closes after u buy it
- Exo: u can walk over eggs and squish them
- Exo: gorge spit? and bile bomb blinds the exo think cory said it will be less cvovering in the released build )
- Exo: u just die if u run out of armor ( u don't jump out)
- Commander (marine)
- new UI looks awesome
- buildings have outlines around them to see them better( thank u totalbisquit i guess )
- New Power grid effect, looks great.
- destroyed/unbuilt power node shows as blue placed building for marines ( not sure..)
- Charlie can't spell when playing ;P

in the b216 balance files, it says 300 base and 30 per upgrade so this makes sense if on armor level 3.
I hope the exo gets a massive spotlight!

Fixed that for ya, the enemy structure still show their HP though
Also the name plate is visibility range is much shorter, fixing the issue of spotting enemies in vents or around the corner :)

If you look on <a href="http://hypernovadesign.co.uk/nanogrid/" target="_blank">Nanogrid</a> right now, they have 22 players in their 217 test server, so probably some final bug hunting is going on.
Marines shouldnt have it (they have scan for showing that up) Aliens should only get it once building is parasited
I thought it was funny when you referred to your opinion as the community's unanimous opinion.
right. uwe has an expansive view of community - which includes many new players that have no clue what to do. They need extra tips.
The hardcore community will turn it off & all will be bliss.
