Black armor or deluxe for exclusive looks?

I dont get it. I love my black armor, its unique and rare. So I have to restart the game using the deluxe version to get the other content? Why not having both in the same version, instead of switching. So you can choose inside the game while playing?

I dont get it ? :( Explain for me :D

And how can I give out my key to a friend? :) Tell me :D

Your free copy of NS2 will either be Emailed or most likely added as a steam gift in your steam inventory.

In the game itself you will be able to choose between your armors, so default, black, or preorder. It will be automatically added to your account. (I assume)

I guess its like the black armor, a dlc... so there wont be any need to switch versions, they can make it work right trough steam. (so it will say deluxe version, next to the black armor under dlcs)

Also i bet there will be some extra menu to change the dlc armor soon.

Dunno if the keys and armor will be available in the following days, or if we have to wait until release. We ll see...

Given that they are complete models and not individual bits of armor, i dont think you can combine anything.. its either green, special black, or special green.

Maybe at some point in the future they might make it more customizable, but i dont see them having too much time to spent on this yet.

Like I said in another thread, we need some alien skins eventually.
Like a classic orange skulk from NS1 with red eyes or something.

We will be adding an option to the game main menu to choose which version of the armor you want to play with. I'm not sure if that will be in by 1.0, but if not it will be shortly after. And further down the road we are hoping to have a more robust customization feature, where you can choose different armor, faces, decals, etc.

We will also do some special alien models eventually, as well, but that will be post 1.0 as well
