Ok, I've been seeing a lot of people wanting to know how to mute someone, and after digging through some posts, this looks like it will solve the problem most of the time.

Unfortunately, I'm at work at the moment, and so I can't test it out, so if it's a no go, I apologize. Please let me know if this works...

    i was able to do this in DoD by
    1 holding down the score key the whole time.
    2 Click left mouse button - you now get your mouse pointer.
    3 You should now be able to scroll the whole score list and click on a player to mute.

    i tried it last night and it still wont mute people with patch 1.02

    well thats how you mute people in TFC... but i dont know if it works for NS

    maybe there is an easier console command to mute people? I think that would be adequate

    Actually you can mute that way in EVERY mod except NS

    Hold "showscores" key RIGHTCLICK and you will get the cursor, then click on the name of the person u want to mute. It will say "You will no longer hear that player speak" you wont see what they type ither, I dont think the commander is allowed to mute, Ive not been able to do it as COMM and have not had the need to try as aliens
