Comments
Hihi, I wish :P
I love your videos and the effort you put in your little pet projects! Thank you so much!
Also I fixed the annotations, they now link to the part on the timeline it should link to. For those interested, what I did was simply add the #t=XmYs to the link in the Annotation Editor, instead of using the little time "Start linked video at:" box, the X|Y are min|sec
you can thank lauschin for that as seen in this topic <a href="http://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/youtube/mndZECXsvC0" target="_blank">http://productforums.google.com/forum/#...ube/mndZECXsvC0</a>
Is there currently any easy way to override default models/sounds etc without replacing the actual game files?
I.e how Source does it where all the game files are kept in archives and you can drop custom files into the game folders which will be used unless the server is set to pure.
Would be a nice thing if they could add it later if it's not already in, would work nicely with consistency checking too.
Yep, it's too bad this mod will probably go bye bye as well. Maybe weapon models could still be modable . I'm actually running around with black armored hands and also black weapons :P
This x1000, please.
We already have a model similar to the classic NS1 marine with deluxe model, aliens need some love in the cosmetic department.
I just don't want to go back the the purple creatures :P

Yeah, anyone remember the cell-shaded pack that was featured in every competitive ns1 video?
>_>
I actually have one of those as well (<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qoR3ffRnsco" target="_blank">unreleased NS2Pixel</a>) as an attempt to stop the hitching of materials streaming in and out of memory. It did help to some extent, but the game code load and the lack of "Level of Detail" models, kinda made it a moot point in terms of FPS++
Some screenshots of the changes:

Would be very cool to have those classic models as option.. or maybe integrated in the Classic mod?
<strike>I've added a comment to the workshop. Currently it shows as active (liar :P) and will also update or say it is up to date in the mod menu, however build 220 doesn't support "Cosmetic" mods like this one yet.</strike>
It does work now in Build 221
