<div class="IPBDescription">Why are some buttons and functions missing?!</div>Looking at the key binding menu, there are many options and keys missing:

What happened to Mouse wheel up and down?! There are mouse button 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 ... but no wheel up and down?! That's strange.

<u>And what happened to the following functions:</u>
Next weapon / previous weapon?
Join aliens / Join marines / Join random (only bindable via console o_O)
Last used weapon? (Just like no_idea tells here: <a href="http://www.unknownworlds.com/ns2/forums/index.php?showtopic=119982&hl=" target="_blank">Last used weapon</a>)
What happened to the screenshot function?! Does this work via Steam? Dunno...

I am always irritated by the current binding of next weapon and prev. weapon. In all my other games it's vice versa: Scroll down gets me the next lower weapon, eg. from rifle to pistol. NS2 switches from rifle to axe instead of pistol...

Oh and something else: Using the ^ as default key to open the console is ok. But please: It would be great if you clear the keyboard-cache entering the console, so that typing anything into the console won't always start with the ^ That's a bit annoying ;-)

    Yeaaa wtb lastweaponused.. and would be nice to see binds for slots 6-10, even if just for modders

    Also the F# keys need to be added... I would love to have my F1 to Marines and F2 Aliens like in NS1 but currently I have to settle for console bindings of "," "." and "/".

    I know, its annoying - but until UWE fixes it you could always install this mod :

    Its an interface mod, but it contains extra keybinds aswell, including nex/prev wep, lastwepused, the F#-buttons, a bunch of commander-related stuff etc

    This really is something Spark should surface. The fact that it doesn't exist in-engine is quite atrocious. Max could take an afternoon and implement this very easily. Especially mwheel, since that will allow more modding!

    Yeah, I already tried this mod and it's just fine. It has the features I am missing in the current NS2 menu. Not to mention that the serverbrowser of the mod is much more faster than that stupid original serverbrowser of NS2! ...

    But: NS2 keeps crashing after a few minutes if I am using this mod o_O I don't know why... too bad, 'coz it's just what I would like to see in NS2. It's kinda annoying to restart NS2 every 10 minutes.

    UWE should really <b>hurry up</b> fixing the whole NS2 menu! It's the first thing a new player will see and it's sooo annoying! Missing keys, the serverbrowser is far too slow and sorts the servers by ping instead of players, there are no filter settings and so on... and the remaining parts of the menu aren't better. Eg.: Why can't I leave NS2 while connected to a server? That's not explainable...

    Please do all players a favour and fix that menu. New upcomming players will be disappointed otherwise.
