Your khammander has planted a fade egg on the ground in front of you, you squeal with delight and then enter it. When you get out though, you are now a fade with celerity and carapace. Boo!
I think pressing "e" on the fade egg should bring up the evolve menu, locked to the fade selection, with all the evolutions set back to default (none). Then you can choose which ones you want. If you walk away or press "e" again the menu disappears, in case you want to give the egg to someone else.

This was actually the functionality I was expecting when I first found out about the khamm being able to drop eggs for higher lifeforms.
Wouldn't it be better to just reset your upgrades on hopping into a Khaam egg as opposed to letting you pick them straight off? There isn't much of a difference, but it would keep the mechanic consistent-y at least.
