I proposed gorgy heal points a while back, to motivate ppl to heal and reward them

I think we should do the same for those who wield welders

    Disappointment.

    I thought this thread was going to be about giving Marines the ability to weld vents/doors again. Then I could go around yelling Killing Floor quotes.

    I would like to see points for welding/healing players and structures as well as door and vent welding.

    Don't make the vents permanently closed like in NS1 though, just make a skulk take 10 or 15 seconds to bite through.
    Any more and it becomes just tiresome for aliens.

    Plus, welding shouldn't contain or stop the aliens, just buy you time.
    Same idea with the the turrets, they're currently very poorly implemented as "offensive sentries"(basically an oxymoron).
