Compact turret

<div class="IPBDescription">weapon idea</div>the compact turret is a tripod turret like the ones from HL1, the compact turret is small has low health and runs on a battery so doesn't require power like other item. the main point of the compact is its small and light allowing it to be picked up and moved with the front line.


Compact turret
health: 50
weapon slot: same as mines
cost: 30 personal

weapon
Primary: deploy
secondary: hit things with it (gives time ti swap to a weapon when attacked)


turret function
unlike its larger counterparts that are used for defense the compact sports a semiautomatic high caliber this means it deals heavy damage but has a slow fire rate. its attacks punch through armor but don't deal very much damage in total.

    The game doesn't need more static defenses, the game doesn't need more things that aren't players that shoot at people, there is no time before release to add an entirely new unit, adding a new unit takes new art/animations/UI work/etc. which costs a lot of money and I don't see the point of adding this one. It would take marines out of direct combat and turn them into turret carriers. It would replace PvP combat with trying to bite a building. It would make the game more confusing and less fun. What would be the point?

    Sorry but, marines had turrets? I hadnt noticed, on the point of them Not existing for a few builds unless thecommander had no idea or the game was over already
    And at that note, why is it marines have to play pvai, and aliens dont? I dont the this logic.
