Amazing maps...
Oh, btw, just coz I saw it mentioned a few weeks ago, *god knows where* ... yet no one seemed to pick up on it though...

The 1998 remake of Battlezone, is, btw, the best game ever made. google battlezone 98.

It does work on win7, just persevere, challenge: bet you can't complete the soviet missions....

PS... if someone can get BZ2 working on win7, Nvidia gfx, plz let me know....

I think I tried BZ2 a couple years ago but got stuck due to bugs.
Anyway, there's an unofficial patch that provides win7 compatibility: http://matesfamily.org/bz2/

I remember playing this up until getting to Venus or something, it was really neat and I wish I still had it in working condition. I still remember the sounds from things like locking on with missiles (boop BLAH-LAH for shadower missiles, or Tink..... BAU-WAU for hornet missiles) or the mortar.

Always was curious how it worked out in multiplayer with the whole FPSRTS gameplay, could you have many (non-AI) dudes on each team?
