how do i make it so these run smooth, they do at the beggining but once i start to add hallfs it becomes laggy.. so is there a way to make it lag free?

Start to add what?
And map lag is usually due to high poly counts. Check Valve-ERC to find out how to turn on the r_speeds thing.
