<div class="IPBDescription">/stuck but avoiding glitching</div>Simple idea if you get stuck you type /spawn and 5-10 seconds latter you spawn back at base. Key difference between this and /kill is that you never died so you don't affect the spawn rate of others, you would also keep your lifeform. and finally it won't affect anyone who cares about k/d.

Ok so we don't want people warping out of a fight, set it up so if they move or take damage they can't warp for 5-10 more seconds.

We don't want people using it to "beacon". Have it the opposite of spawning so it deprioritizes the hive under attack.

I know some will strongly disagree with this opinion I just can't think of any significant downside.

    instead of teleporing people back to base, i think they should just be moved as little as possible. e.g. an onos will probably take much longer than 5-10 seconds to walk back to base in order to defend it -> possible abuse.
    if thats not possible, please use a high amount such as dota1 had: something like 60 seconds. that might be a death-sentence in some situations, but preventing abuse has a much higher priority imo.

    We made a /stuck command in ns2stats-lua mod. It works fairly well but if you are really stuck in a wall somehow it doesn't always get you out of there but if you get stuck in a vent it most likely does the trick.

    Dont forget you wont lose res income for dying.

    yes, but you are not supposed to have that penalty imo. if you get stuck it's not really your own fault (maybe you could have avoided it but i think you get my point), so you should be treated as still alive.

    I guess they could change it to be like the egg solution and teleport to a near by open area... I really don't care but forcing a player to /kill is poor form. If you fall over a railing sure you should die but if you blink around a corner and get stuck should you be punished?

    I don't think this topic has any value, they could just copy our /stuck command or make one by themselves; you can't abuse it and it has always unstucked me from vents etc.

    Iv used your /stuck on docking next to maint an onos will most deffently get stuck if trying to go into gen.....
