is it true? does that mean i will have 2 copies to give to my friends as gifts?
I can't find any news saying that on UWE / NS2 sites.

Pre-Steam Pre-Orders get a free key (standard edition) to gift to a friend. These keys do not give them Beta access, they activate on v1.0 release. The keys are still going out if you haven't received it yet. Don't worry, the devs are working on it :)
