We just put together a quick gameplay overview of the game. We are including this inside the game starting with Build 221.
We didn't have time to do this video properly but needed to get something in there quickly - so you'll hear Hugh mis-speaking a couple times and some awkward bits. But I think this could really help new players learn the basics before jumping into a game online!

Allso one thing I liked while browsing youtube was some people used "cards" in the video to highlight some stuff in text, this would be awsome if done correctly, for example when explaining something on the marine side a hologram with text will be displayed and when explaining aliens the infestation would spread down from left top corner and display text on it.
Kinda like this one HERE
some very minor complaints:
-personal res (and their location on the screen) are covered twice
-regarding skulk watching the world through it's mouth: i'd say that's more of a player-point-of-view choice than it's real view, because the skulk actually has eyes
-one of the movement keys (i belive the one for moving slowly) also allows you to stick to the surfaces more strictly, this could be mentioned
-"all alien structures except hives require infestation" well, hydras and clogs work fine, whips stay alive at least. i guess this is not relevant to cover in the video, but maybe it could be taken into account somehow
-"[...] will research new abilities for the skulk and other alien life forms": this sounds like the commander has to research (unlock) the new life forms. while this cleared up shortly after that, it would be less confusing to say "and for other alien life forms"
