Marines Overpowered?

<div class="IPBDescription">No way.</div> I think marines are too dependent upon one entity to be 'overpowered'. Having the commander class be in charge of 'everything' makes the marine team susceptible to...
1. An inexperienced commander not keeping his troops stocked and secure with turrets when necessary, leading to massive deaths and lost RPs.
2. A jackass commander who would rather recycle all the buildings and laugh out loud before he quits the server, thus putting the marines MAJORLY behind and likely causing a loss of the match.
...and not to mention...
3. Gun-toting yahoo's who prefer to go solo than stick together. They run off, get killed, and lose their HMG - HA - Shotgun - Jetpack - etc.
4. No way to heal other than medpacks.
So, all in all, the marines are NOT overpowered. It's a hell of a lot harder to play a marine game simply because of the necessities of teamwork and effective direction from a commander. 9 times out of 10 I've seen games lost because a cmdr couldn't set a waypoint for his troops to gather at and everyone felt lost. That's inexcusible.

Teh mind pwnz j00 intruder.......
Really, the biggest issue was fixed...tking structures.
Back on topic, marines, if anything, are a little underpowered. My biggest peeve about marines is the inability to heal (hp, not armor) w/o commander, but it does counterbalance the commanders packages of flying health.

And no, idiot players are not the dev team's fault... it's an unfortunate side-effect of almost any multiplayer game these days. I was simply saying, a 'bad' player has the opportunity to negatively effect the marines more than the aliens, if only for a brief period of time. It also sucks when you have a great commander and he has to leave or times out of the server, or when a few stupid players decide to eject him because they find it funny :/
