<div class="IPBDescription">am i the only one?</div>As i wrote here <a href="http://www.unknownworlds.com/ns2/forums/index.php?showtopic=121474&view=findpost&p=1985161" target="_blank">http://www.unknownworlds.com/ns2/forums/in...t&p=1985161</a> and here <a href="http://www.unknownworlds.com/ns2/forums/index.php?showtopic=121474&view=findpost&p=1985266" target="_blank">http://www.unknownworlds.com/ns2/forums/in...t&p=1985266</a> with 221 i experienced a massive fps drop.

I just quitted a game now cos it was unplayable. used to have 50-60 fps in normal situations (late in the game) and 30-35 in heavy battles.

i now reach a poor 15 fps when attacking or defending a base. and 35 - 40 in normal situations. (GPU delay in r_stats is always at 0 ms)
Didn't change anything graphic related from 220

Now i tried to decrease/increase graphic settings
Tried steam integrity.
Completely redownloaded the game.
No changes.

If i put multicore on or off in the options, it always uses 2 cores (or maybe 2 and a very little of the third with multicore on), no matter what.
And here is the problem i think. i remember some tests i did in some old build ~200 where i could use 3 cores at full, and the 4th at minimum % (just 2-3 fps gained compared to the ~20 fps for each of the first 3 cores activated. oh look, the 20 fps i'm missing :v )

Maybe it's a bug or something hardware related.

Phenom II X4 @ 3.6 Ghz
6 GB ram
ATi 5870
Win 7 64bit

Is there anything i can do to eventually help you investigate this problem ?

Can you use more then 2 cores with this build ?
( with a 4cores cpu run the game in window with taskmanager in background and see the cpu% used by the game. around 50% are 2 cores, 75-80% are three and a little, as it used to be for me)

Make sure Ambient Occlusion is turned off. It can suck as much as 40% off your FPS.

i experience exactly the same problem. in places with lots of buildings, e.g. hives or marine base i drop to 15 fps in combat.
haven't changed anything on my end since the update came out.

    system_options.xml:
    <anti-aliasing>false</anti-aliasing>
    <fullscreen>true</fullscreen>
    <reflections>false</reflections>
    <window-mode>fullscreen</window-mode>
    <display-buffering>0</display-buffering>
    <shadow-fading>true</shadow-fading>
    <anisotropic-filtering>false</anisotropic-filtering>
    <bloom>false</bloom>
    <fov-adjustment>0.000000</fov-adjustment>
    <quality>2</quality>
    <x-resolution>1680</x-resolution>
    <y-resolution>1050</y-resolution>
    <ambient-occlusion>off</ambient-occlusion>
    <atmospherics>false</atmospherics>
    <shadows>true</shadows>

at the beginning of each round i get around 50-60 fps just like in build 220 and droping slowly like it always did as the game goes on. but now in late game combats with stuff around my fps go down to 15 or less. after leaving the area by dying or trying to escape the fps will increase again.

    my system:
    i5 2500k @ 3.3
Render Device: ASUS EAH6950 Series (8.17.10.1083) <- your log
    8gb ram
    Win 7 64bit
