Lol, onos are great now. Exo's are the only thing that rip through onos anymore, and guess what? THEY ARE SLOW AS HELL, and what else? Onos are fast again! So don't stick around when you see an exo without support. Marines (even with JP) have a hell of a time killing a 1300health/1000armor (with cara) lifeform, even with lvl 3 weapons. I always get regen over cara myself, and still get away easily as long as I don't overcommit. Lerk by tier 3 is purely support, and not meant to do damage, thats what fades and skulks are for.
1) onos don't suck, you need to learn how to use them
2) lerks do suck, but substantially less than they did 2 patches ago. Late game having 1 tier 3 lerk with your team can be a gamechanger.

You said it here. Exactly the reason why onos suck. A 75 res lifeform that requires support to fight a 50 res unit is an absolute joke. Dual exosuits mow down onos.

How about we save 20 resource and go gorge instead? You'll do far more bilebombing, which only requires 2 hives, and healing team members. And the resources you saved means you can go gorge an additional 2 times or save for a fade.

Dual miniguns rip through onos, regular miniguns do substantially less (due to the fact that they only have 1 heavy weapon ripping through armor). 1v1 onos vs 1minigun is decent but you have to time your charges. Also if your that late game, get that 1 lerk I talked about to umbra you so he does even less. Onos is base killer/ basic infantry killer / shield for allies. If you want to kill dual exos and jp's, spend nothing and stay as skulk or drop the 50res on fade.

If aliens can't research everything, marines shouldn't be able to research everything either. So marines can spam W3/A3 jetpack GL+shotties and dual exos in a long game while the aliens can't even get their third line of abilities (shift/shade/crag) or stomp? A round of applause to whoever thought that up...
