<div class="IPBDescription">This has probably been discussed before... so what?!</div>Well, I just got a new laptop that can handle most games I throw at it with flying colors. Here are the basic specs:

3rd generation Intel® Core™ i7-3610QM processor
15.6” Full HD display (1920×1080), 16:9 widescreen
NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 660M 2GB graphics
16GB DDR3 memory, CAS Latency 10-10-10
256GB Samsung 830 Series SSD

Even still, I get down to 20ish FPS sometimes. I play the game at 1368x780 (somewhere around there) and have turned off AA, Atmospherics, Bloom, and Streaming and put Texture Quality on Medium. Personally, i didn't notice much increase in FPS after making these changes. Anyone have a list of what each visual settings can do to overall FPS? I thought I saw it somewhere before but haven't been able to find it since.

What settings I should focus on or even console commands to use to improve my performance without affecting the visuals too much?!

I know I'm comparing apples and oranges here, but BF3 runs on my machine at the same resolution with everything on ULTRA and I never go below 70 FPS.

Anyways, I appreciate your help.

On a live server, type r_stats in console, play for a while and if it says '0ms waiting on GPU' at all times then your CPU is the bottleneck and lowering graphics won't make any difference.
