Natural Selection 2 streaming test via my tablet :)

Just a quick test video using Splashtop Gaming THD to stream NS2 via the wifi to my tablet. It's one handed (Hence why it seems so clunky) but two handed it works fine, albeit the sensitivity on the 'mouse' is way to high atm lol.

I'm totally aware this would be impossible to use for a proper game, however I thought it was cool :D

For interest, the game was being streamed to the Nexus 7 at 1080 and then being downsized to its native resolution.
I also decided to do this video with the WIFI locked into G instead of N. N works fine, but it wouldn't be a test if I wasn't pushing it lol.

That's pretty cool. Looks like it'd be difficult to play FPS on it with any skill, but maybe comming wouldn't be so bad. I'd love to see how it performs in an actual game.

Yeah, it's not easy to do an FPS with haha! Might give commanding and a real game a go later. I'll let you know how it goes :)

If someone actually comes up with a good alternative to mouse and keyboard I'll be surprised. Apparently Valve are currently working on something at the moment. Still have massive doubts about Occulus, ill have to wait and see.

Wouldn't it make sense to set the resolution to that of the tablet?

In theory yes lol. Let me explain it

PC Res --- Tablet Res =
1080 --- 1080 = All good! Except my tablet isn't 1080 so it downsizes the screen to fit :)
1080 --- 720 = The tablet only displays 720 pixels OF THE AVAILABLE 1080. Normally the centre. Not sure if it's a bug atm but that's what happens :P
720 --- 720 = All good! Except I'm then changing the game settings depending on if i'm using the tablet vs. the desktop.

TBH 1080 streams fine across N mode. Just struggles a bit on G :P
