on map ns_nancy is the only map where i can get a decent frame rate of 50
but unfortunately when the server switches or when i join any other game (thats not nancy) i can only get a framerate of 12-14 that slowly drops to 6 or less
this doesnt happen when i join any other mod DoD TFC CS
is this problem contributed to the mapper setting up variables that arent the same to any other NS map? the r_speeds perhaps (i dont know im not a mapper)
any help would be appreciated

    What kind of video card/CPU do you have?

    I haven't noticed any slowdown, but I have a GF3 on a 2.8 P4.

    750 AMD Athlon
    382MB RAM
    Windows 98
    GeForce 3 64MB

    It shouldn't be running that slow with a decent system like that. I ran HL/CS with my 1.1GHz TBird, and even a friend's Duron 600 and it was no where near that slow.

    - Are you running the latest nVidia Detonator drivers from www.nvidia.com ?
    - Get the latest VIA 4in1 drivers from www.viaarena.com (this is often a major problem!)
    - Update sound drivers, and all other drivers.
    - Try re-installing HL/NS.
