Ready Room Exploit!

<div class="IPBDescription">this is important</div> I was playing a few seconds ago when something occurred to me...if any player wanted to, he/she could use the ready room as a way to more quickly return to spawn.
OK, imagine this. Your spawn is being attacked. You're at the opposite end of the map...All you have to do is press F4 and join your team and bam you're at spawn.
There needs to be a system to prevent this. I haven't seen someone use this in play yet, but it IS an exploit.

The time it takes to get to the readyroom, join the marine team, and finish the obligatory wait in the line to respawn would make running back to base seem the much better and more efficient choice.
Wait for respawn = 10 to 15 seconds, approximately, at maximum.
Total = 16 seconds.
Quicker then walking the entire map back to spawn, which can take 20 seconds.
Okay, call it an exploit if you will, but it is one I won't be using.
Most of the readyrooms are big enough that it takes about 6-10 seconds to get to a team door, more if you're playing on Hera. That plus the respawn wait means a 21-25 second delay getting back to base. By my estimation, that's at least 1-5 seconds longer than it takes to walk over there myself.
I don't think it's an issue.

Actually I forgot to put in there "If you're smart, you'll only use the exploit if you have no goodies as a marine or alien to spare. (Such as HMG or HA as marine, or evolution or armor upgrades as alien)

Or do you even get a frag count as marine? lol. i never really paid attention, since NS isn't so based on frags and getting all the kills...which is awesome.

I think beyond the first 30 seconds of game start there should be a 5-10 second delay from the ready room anyway. If a person dies legit and has to respawn normally they have a delay.

Distress beacon automatically respawns all dead players at their original starting points. Ie: no respawn waits.
That explains why i cannot buy my awp <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo--> The point was to show that taking your "life" might not be accepted in a league. And we all know the day you get your entire team too kill yourself on a public server is not comming.

As for the blocking in the ready room... would it be possible to make it so that ready room players don't clip into each other? Solve that problem real fast...

what happens if you get stuck by a building and have to kill yourself to get free? Would that mean you were using an exploit? phase gates are things newer commanders often forget and are invaluable as they are so cheap to build and mean movement times for marines is cut into a tiny fraction leaving them able to attack/defend places that otherwise would be impossible.
The chance to benefit from it will be like.......1%?

If you read all the posts I made you would have noticed I left out "Only a smart marine would use this exploit if he/she didn't have HMG, HA, or any other resource costing weapon/item." in the first one.
Personally, I hate using "kill" and will only call upon it's suicidal powers if I'm stuck in a vent or in a structure.
