All our servers are down, we cannot start the servers no more. After this patch.
Why are we not inform of changes?
Have you changed the server.xml to use serverconfig.json file?
I can confirm that nxzl and tempest has the same problem.
I have looked in the dedicated_server_usage and doesn't see any new information here.
Please give us a fast answer, it's tournament tomorrow. We must get information whats going on asp.

.. but it would've been really nice to know this beforehand if there was a change.
Server ops: Lots of stuff has changed this build, check the operator instructions txt Everyone: servers may take some time to come online
Can someone post the contents here? Dont know why they wouldnt just make a forum post with this info...
Most of the command line arguments were removed or changed. You should use the web admin tool to configure your server initially combined with the .json files.
What command line do you use when starting a server?

My dedicated_server_usage.txt hasn't not been changed when it comes adding the information about the new changes.
This is what i try do right now using commands line:
-ip 62.65.106.53 -port 27020 -lan false -limit 20 -name "OldAssGamers.com Classic" -config_path "E:\Service\NS2_Servers\Server_1\config"
Webadmin doesn't work :/ Can't make my server starts.

From what I am told, the web admin tool is broken.
Guess server.xml is not being used anymore? Having to specify each item via command line now...
-name "Nexzil | Private Server" -limit "20" -password ""
stuff like that, effects nothing.

have to take off the web admin switch for everything else to work
We're left to inspect a different textfile than the one tweeted about, and without any prior warning or change-list are having to make the changes in a hurry, a little bit of a warning would have been nice but we'll make do!
I'm not quite understanding what about my exec flags is now broken however; every flag is still named the same and performs the same function according to Dedicated_server_usage.txt. Unless I'm misunderstanding and server.xml is now obsolete and all the other flags should be in that file instead?
<!--c1--><div class='codetop'>CODE</div><div class='codemain'><!--ec1-->-file C:\Servers\NS2\srv1\server.xml -config_path C:\Servers\NS2\srv1\config -modstorage C:\Servers\NS2\srv1\Workshop -webadmin 1 -webdir "C:\Servers\NS2\srv1\Web" -webdomain localhost -webport 27017<!--c2--></div><!--ec2-->
EDIT: Now i'm reading that the web interface is broken, time to try taking that off, i'll report back.
I've tried and yet it still doesn work. Please show us your commandline
<a href="http://ns2.camron.me/ded-221-222.html" target="_blank">http://ns2.camron.me/ded-221-222.html</a>
<!--c1--><div class='codetop'>CODE</div><div class='codemain'><!--ec1-->-name "My Cool Server" -map ns2_summit -limit 24 -port 27015 -webadmin<!--c2--></div><!--ec2-->
Then open your web browser to localhost/index.html to get the web interface.

-file its a different command now, okay i understand that. But there is still no explanation on how you write the commands inside the folder. Is it just simple command like " -ip -lan false -port 34344 " or is it like the serverconfig.json file ? Example:
{
"settings":
{
"name: test
<!--c1--><div class='codetop'>CODE</div><div class='codemain'><!--ec1-->-name "My Cool Server" -map ns2_summit -limit 24 -port 27015 -webadmin<!--c2--></div><!--ec2-->

Still doesnt work. :/

Thank you so much for this, helped slap me in the face with my misunderstanding!
Clearly server.xml is now gone, in its place I have a server.txt with the fields -name, -limit, and -port replacing what was once in my server.xml. (no mention of langame this time though?)
OAG my exec now simply looks like:
<!--c1--><div class='codetop'>CODE</div><div class='codemain'><!--ec1-->-file C:\Servers\NS2\srv1\server.txt<!--c2--></div><!--ec2-->
and my new server.txt is simply:
<!--c1--><div class='codetop'>CODE</div><div class='codemain'><!--ec1-->-port 27015 -limit 18 -name "UK :: The Thirsty Onos :: Vanilla #1" -config_path C:\Servers\NS2\srv1\config -modstorage C:\Servers\NS2\srv1\Workshop<!--c2--></div><!--ec2-->
I havent included the web interface back in yet, but i'm about to try that. the above works fine for a server without a web interface however!
<b>EDIT:</b>
Well, whilst the server still loads with this in the server.txt, my browser wont open the web interface:
<!--c1--><div class='codetop'>CODE</div><div class='codemain'><!--ec1-->-port 27015 -limit 18 -name "UK :: The Thirsty Onos :: Vanilla #1" -config_path C:\Servers\NS2\srv1\config -modstorage C:\Servers\NS2\srv1\Workshop -webadmin 1 -webdir "C:\Servers\NS2\srv1\Web" -webdomain localhost -webport 27017<!--c2--></div><!--ec2-->
Clicking on the index.html like Murphy suggested does bring up my (well, devnulls's) web interface, but it doesnt seem to actually be serving it to the web anymore?
What your steam, i show it for you.

Don't click the file, open your web browser and type "localhost/index.html" to navigate to the page.
Use different ports
Then you type "localhost:81/index.html"
Where's the port in <a href="http://localhost/index.html" target="_blank">http://localhost/index.html</a> ?
<a href="http://localhost:27017/index.html" target="_blank">http://localhost:27017/index.html</a> as the configured port in my server.txt (see my earlier post, but: -webport 27017 ) delivers nothing?
It's 3am but I don't think im missing something obvious - am I?

Webport. Look at the post above you.
If you are trying to setup a second server on the same machine, pass in -webport 81 and change 81 to whatever port you want.
Are you using 27016 or 27017 as the game server port? If so, the server may not be able to bind that port for web use because it is already in use.

I've already said im defining -webport, i've tried it both in the server.txt (-file read file) and directly in the exec and neither worked. Are you saying 27017 is too high? that I need to be down in the 80's?
<a href="http://localhost:27017/index.html" target="_blank">http://localhost:27017/index.html</a><!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
27015 is gameport (by default) so +1 for the query port 27016, so I defined +1 again as 27017 for the web interface, it was working perfectly for each instance on 221 (i have them on 1000 increments so I head web-facing interfaces at 27017, 28017, 29017, 30017 ) All worked fine, now I just cant seem to get it to bind its web instance to a port, i've tried -webport both in the -file location and directly on the command line.
It looks like the webdomain command isn't working right now. I'll try to figure out what is going on there ASAP. For now, don't use it.

Ah, sorry that's my fault for not being clear. Just in a rush to get slots open for people to see your new patch :) !
Glad I wasn't messing something simple up, was starting to feel like I deserved the spoon-feeding I was getting =P Thanks guys.
