Dropped weapon highlights

I notice a lot of people frustrated about weapons being continuously recovered when lost, when in proximity to a dropped weapon it has a highlight that you can see through the wall, if this was removed it would make retrieval not as common with teammates spotting dead friendlies weapons and highjacking them all the time when their lit up like christmas. the highlighting how ever on weapons placed by the commander has its uses but on player death it only serves to encourage selfish pickups by friendlies and easy navigation from respawn. if your in your base and you die with a weapon, it shouldn't be too hard to find without the glow on it(yet again just as it was in NS1)
