Sentry battery and Battery packs? :/

I miss dropping a battery pack for use in getting a ninja phase gate, and the whole sentery battery think just seems to be not very imersive anyways.


Anyone else feel that way?

Sentry battery = turret factory (but without the sieges)

I think capped sentries per TF is great, and is what everyone has been asking for for a while.

But I agree ninja phases were awesome, and they are missed. Hopefully when the devs have more time they can make a new model for the <strike>turret factory</strike> sentry battery, and bring back power packs using the original model.

Sentry batteries still feel a tad odd but we'll get used to them as a "TF" as mentioned.

Maybe they can add an PG addon building that works as a power pack, that way it can only be used for ninja PGs and not prolonging games with power pack on IP spam.

Excellent idea. Ninja phase is the only fun use for power packs I ever saw.

Ninja PGs do happen still guys... watch some clan matches whydontya! Or try it yourselves!

I think the reason that ninja PGs are not as common is because of the level designs, with NS having larger maps where it was easier to build without someone coming across you.

I think of an ability that has to be researched at the obs, that allows to power a phase gate over a short time for the cost of res. So it would have the downside of being pricey and only short timed. So it isn't used to build ultra-durable phase gates with x power supplies. And you would need to get the power on as fast as possible or the com needs to dump more and more res into keeping that phase gate working.
