Health and Safety in the Natural Selection universe

Ladies and Gentlemen,

I'd like to create this thread to discuss some of the obscenely dangerous safety breaches and flagrant health problems observed within the warzone.

1) Skulk teeth: Skulks clearly need floss... it's simple

2) Command Station: Like seriously?? The marine stands on a platform and a GIANT METAL SHELL closes in around him... NEXT!

3) Bouncy Grenades: Grenades that don't bounce kill 500 unborn kittens a day, these new bouncy grenades are estimated to kill at least triple that amount! I'm also led to believe that marines are being killed by their own friendly fire... less than desirable! :\

4) Lack of eye wear: Marines are fighting a bacterial enemy yet have no eye protection. Thus I can only assume that NS2 is a metaphorical battle against conjunctivitis... or maybe a literal one...

5) The ready room: I find it extremely offensive that the marines have been observed making pyramids with aliens. This kind of [expletive] behaviour with the enemy should NEVER be tolerated.

Team,

Feel free to add more examples to be submitted to the El' Presidente.

My skulk uses listerine, does that count as good dental hygiene?

When the Command Chair closes, the Commander is vaporized and linked to the local nanite grid. That's why there's no chair, and why being in the CC when it closes will instantly kill anything that isn't the Com.

If you look down into the chair through a gap in the roof plating, you can clearly see it is empty. =P

Do the marines also have nanite eye-drops so they don't need goggles?

No, they have nanite nanites so their nanites just nanite.

New unit for 1.0, a mobile CC equipped with jetpacks and sentry programming, homing in on Khaara (or fellow rines) and vaporizing them instantly. The ultimate sanitizing solution. :O

Skulks are MADE out of bacteria, so I doubt having bacterial excretions damage their teeth is a problem.

Experienced marines have learned that good eyeware can be both stylish and functional when fighting the kharaa menace, that's why you will see veterans of the TSF wearing special goggles that none of the rookies get to wear.

So basically the marines are wasting all these expensive weapons and ammo when they could just be using soap and warm water.
