This thread will be used as a discussion for alienupgrades. This includes proposed statchanges, new upgrades and maybe accordingly needed changes on lifeforms from each and everyone of you.
So... let's start.
While watching some streams with tournament fights, everyone will recognize the following things: Early onos, carapace and celerity. However, are all three overpowered? I don't think so. Maybe everything else is underpowered. When I look at upgrades like regeneration or camouflage, I think something is missing. A change or just a plain buff would help.
For example: Why not combine Silence and Camouflage? And maybe give Regeneration a healthbonus half the worth which carapace gives (skulk would get +20 armor, but with reg +10 life while keeping the current regeneration out of combat).

adrenaline needs to go back to what it used to be, maybe not quite as effective but tripling energy solves nothing once you run out of energy your still waiting, and now you have to wait longer. the only time i ever take adrenaline is as gorge and thats only if im gonna spam alot of bile bombs in a short time.
carapace is good, i would never take regen over cara.
focus needs to be added.
i feel the same way as you do with camo and silence. or atleast make camo so you can move or walk 100% invis.
Silence is ok, but no where as good as cele and cara. I dont know how i feel about the new hit sounds when using silence.
If nothing is done to the other upgrades celerity + cara will always be the way to go.
Bring back focus/redemption/scent of fear.
2 upgrades per node is kind of boring, 3 is the perfect number.
I actually like regen, when you have a lifeform, who actually can escape. Why not giving the choice being the one way tank with cara or take regeneration with little more health and big regeneration bonus? As onos, it would be around +200 life and a hundred times faster regenerating out of combat.

Problem with regen, is that with shotguns/weapon upgrades, you just get insta-gibbed without that carapace, and higher lifeforms are too much of an investment to risk it.
It would be nice if regen gave a form of in-combat regeneration, which allowed it to somewhat increase in-combat suitability (although not as much as cara), and still give the regeneration of being out of combat.
In NS1, focus was a shade ability that greatly increased your damage, but greatly lowered your attack speed, it was a must have for fades. Especially since focus fades 1 shotted lvl 0 armor marines.
Scent of fear basically made it so you always saw nearby marines, as if they were all parasites. (It was shift)
if they just changed them a little bit
<u>Camo:</u> First attack that brings you out of Camo does extra damage (sorted)
<u>Regen:</u> You keep a small % of you higher regen in combat ( to give you a higher efective HP) like active sheild tanking in EvE online :P
<u>Cara:</u> fine as is ( the base armour that needs a buff on higher lifeforms,, really just fade 50 armour is a joke thats what lerks have)
<u>Celerity:</u> I like it the way it is I think in combat speed should be a little higher , but not as fast as not of combat.
<u>Silence:</u> Again I like I wouldn't change it
<u>FD</u>: All they had to do to stop the FD+ hyper expoilt was to make FD not work if you were a egg (sorted I'll will execpt my cut of profits in the mail :P ) also but a FD alien should not show up on Marines mini map
<u>Hyper:</u> love it needs to come back in,, just make it that when downgrading lifeforms you remain at the same % hp as you had on the previous lifeform (ofc this should not be the case if upgrading lifeforms)
