hey there!
maybe some1 can help me... i just dont get it why but my performance is so crap but it shouldnt be... my specs are i5-2500 @ 3,3 ghz, gtx550ti 2gb, 8 gb ram...
i only get 20 fps in menu when on native res and gets unplayable ingame, and when playing on 1280x720 i cant even get a constant 40 fps... i thought its the beta but now on release nothing changed in the performance for me
anybody else having this issue?
thanks anyways

Also, Ambient Oclusion is off.
but i dont get it how people with lower specs can get decent fps at 1920x1080 while i cant even play it at 1280x720

- Disable or set to minimum all graphics options except for texture streaming and multicore rendering
- Run in fullscreen instead of windowed or fullscreen windowed
More advanced steps:
- Disable EIST and C1E in your bios or via a program like http://www.tweakers.fr/cputweaker.html (essentially, this will stop your computer from downclocking when idle and has been known to reduce performance in NS2 when on).
some overclocking would help (has some risk)
screenshot of net_stats command could give more info.
Means your CPU is waiting for your GPU to finish stuff.
It seems like you have not disabled shadows yet. This is one of the most performance reducing settings.
lowest settings - native res
the thing that is pissing me off that i meet the requirements and i cant even play it on lowest settings on 1920x1080.... and that i know people who have lower specs than me getting better performance...
@magicmango, yeah i did still the same :(

nope, i have same gpu delay with i7-3770k and gtx670.
you can see choke > 0, and prediction frames < 6-7, those are signs that cpu is full.
actually, your fps is quite playable without major frustration, versus i had when i bought beta and had p4-3ghz and nvidia 7300gt :)
edit:
actually, it's gpu/memory bottleneck when things get hot at endgame.
Type "profile" in the console (~) and then press the spacebar to pause it in place, then click the plus signs on the top most items that have the largest purple bars, until you cant open the tree any further.
This will expose what is taking your GPU so long to render and would be useful info to know in a screenshot posted here.
then ofc your system specs / dxdiag report would be very helpful.
Thanks!
Try to disable everything in the NVidia Control Panel
This solved all my performance problems. My CPU had nothing to do with it.
@ironhorse, gonna do that next time i have time and im ingame, thx for the replies people!
