Oh yeah. Actually thought that was october... Oh well. shouldn't do much to the european league, and with the americans being fewer than we are, it might just balance out in time for some finals or something?
16 TEAMS?! Amazing. Hopefully there will still be more teams adding up! I also agree with an American division. It is the European Natural Selection League, after all.

There's a long time until the games start. Anyone want to practice? Pugs are very inconsistent in skill level. I'm sure we could use the training at Actioneers.

22 teams signed up already! I never expected this many teams to sign up so fast, but it's awesome! If any american teams are holding back because of ping to europe, then don't worry, just go ahead and sign up. We will be doing at least one North American division, depending how many signs up.

Hehe, Actioneers scrimmed against Vitalgaming and the fact that we are just friends who play together with varied comitment vs. Vitalgaming's trained FPS'ers became abundantly clear! They got us good, and in only the third game did we even get close to holding our own against them, nevermind the fact that our backup player had accidentally connected to the game and went for dinner, afk in ready room, blocking their 6th player slot.
It's gonna be interesting playing against you, but until we have put a couple hundred more hours (couple thousands probably after looking at swalk's game time) We're not gonna be that tough competition.
To illustrate this, a couple of our players just found out yesterday what Umbra did.

We have enough of teams to separate them into divisions. That way we can seed teams by skill... If you are beginners - the best way to learn is to play. =) There is no reason why you have to drop out of this awesome event.

drop out? No we're not gonna do that at all! We knew when we signed up that we were probably getting knocked out in the first round! We were possibly the only team with no beta players in it when we signed up.
The whole scrim post i made is meant to be a joyful acknowledgement that we can improve so much more, but now re-reading it, i can see why it may have sounded a bit negative :)
But yes, We are all players who have only followed the beta through, well, Hugh, primarily (i stalked the forums quite a bit as well) The playexperience is on it's way.

Okay, i'm curious now, what kind of competitive playerbase has there been beforehand since this amount of teams is... surprising to that many of you? Don't get me wrong, i'm just curious, but isn't it just natural since the game launched and let 144.000+ players in total in?

The last year has seen it going between 2-3 active teams up to a maximum of probably 6-8 reasonably active teams.
This is the first chance we have had to see the effect of the 144,000 players that were let in.
Team rooster could be 6 or 8 or more players. It's up to you to decide. However, the formation is 6vs6. You can change players between the rounds/maps/weeks when the season starts. Or in emergency case, if the players DCed (e.g. internet/power went off), one of your extra members can join up. So it's actually good to have more than 6 players on rooster.

Some of the teams signed up does not have 6+ players in their roster on the site yet. Please get your players on your rosters. All they need to do is to go -> Agenda -> find the team in the dropdown menu and join. Then teamcaptains accept them by going -> Agenda -> teamname -> Edit -> Members -> change "joining" to "member" Please do this as fast as possible, as it should be dealt with before the signups closes on monday the 19th. In other words, fix your rosters, or the rooster will fix you.
What swalk said =) Also, if a new member joins your team during the season, he can't play for your team for first 7 days after the joining date. That is the reason why you have to update your roster before the season starts.
