Is that fullbright? 'cause it just seems really really really bright.

[edit]Oh. No. I see shadows. Oh. Windows. It's day out. Ok, this makes sense now. Ignore me.[/edit]

I am not a mapper but here is my two cents
1: It looks kinda bright so i am guessing it is near the marine spawn. NOw that is all find and dandy but i was thinking maybe you should tone down the light a little but that is just a personal thing i guess.
2: What are thoses grates for? Looks or do they have a purpose? Maybe i am missing the point.

Think that is about it, I am sure some other real mappers will give ya more comments. Good luck on the map and such ;P

While I do think this looks quite a bit better then before, and I just love those subtle light beams coming through the windows, I still think it could use a bit of work.

First off, that grating, while it is much better then before, still looks "off" to me. Try putting a brush trim around each one, if your w_poly can take it.

Secondly, while the brightness looks like it would be nice for a marine start area (in some maps), I don't really like the use of the big white lights there... I'm not sure what to suggest here... maybe make them a bit smaller or differently angled? I don't know, maybe they just need some sort of trim or something.

Thirdly, the hallway could definately benefit from a more lively and colored texture use. Everything here is all greyish, and properly mixing some darker shades of color in would really make it look more detailed.

Overall, I like this hall a lot. The light from the windows feels so natural. This is a lot different then what I am doing with my marine area (in terms of brightness and such), but it is what's going to work on most maps.

    Keep it up!

And don't like that grating near the cieling, doesn't fit that well, reducing brightness just a bit would be nice and in the second pic it looks liek one of the lightbeams orriginates partialy from a wall, instead of the window, could be te angel....
Oh and are you actually gonna use this for a map, or make it a prefab? You were the hallwayprefab guy weren't you? Sorry if you're not <!--emo&:)--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'><!--endemo-->

ya, i see what you mena about the light interfector, and it's just because it's covered up by the grate, which i've removed in the fllowing two pics, as well as some major structural changes, as i'm sure you can see:

I like it.  It shows coolness of your abilities.  Unlike mine.  I've had no school all week, and I haven't opened WC once.

Actually, I still think it's too bright, even for a sunlit room. The architecture looks nice though.
