to prevent rookies killing cysts as an exo
I do like so lots of variations of structures, environments of NS2.
But i've seen after the release lots of streams, in which the so-called rookie marines don't know what's important, as aliens have lots of different things.
For example, one of the worst case is that marines are killing 20 eggs and cysts(or shades or shifts firstly. Killing crag is actually kind of understandable) on the hive room rush, instead of vunerable upgrades, harvesters or even hive. If comm even doesn't know what to do, they will just lose every equipment against nothing. Just killing 1 tres-cost cysts, and continously respawning eggs.
Another best example is that they are killing cysts everywhere(especially bad, when they are going to hive rush. They just tell enemy aliens where they are and when they would come) just for fun as it looks cool when it pop out. Worst case is when Exos or marines with expensive equipments are trying to kill cysts or hydras one by one and wasting time, as they could've killed hive or taken whole map if they knew what's priority and just went straight through.
As an alien it's not that problematic, as it's clearly shown, that powernode, and sentry battery or something are kinda important, and it looks important.
So I do think there must be tutorials for rookie marines, or informations about what's important. Unless the commander or leading marine knows about what's important and having mics, lots of marines will lose the game which they could've won already 20 mins ago.

Yeah but every single marine structures are kinda important, unless aliens are trying to kill sentries and sentry batteries as a team instead of killing armory, armslab or something. Even unimportant powernodes on other side of the map will somehow give marines disadvantages for time. And yeah, attacking different structures on base rush is also problem for rookie aliens, but it's all about lack of teamplay. Chewing down different structures individually as aliens on base rush are even far better than marines with teamplay but using their whole teamplay to kill cysts and eggs in the hive room.
Iso again kill RTs as the cost res, powernodes dont.
Yeah. I forgot to mention killing powernode instead of Extractors. But it's same as marines killing cysts instead of harvesters. That's kinda bitter since beta stage. But still none of those cases are worse than rookie marines killing cysts and eggs in hive room. They don't even know what and how important the upgrade structures etc are. I've watched lots of streams of new players just aiming Spurs, Veils, Shells and reading what it is and then completely ignoring it for killing cysts, as it looks just small piece of a thing.
