Can't create desktop shortcut

I want to create a desktop shortcut of NS2 but it does not work.

I press right mouse in steam, create NS2 shortcut and then on my desktop i see a white blanco paper...

I tried the same through the steam files (Steam, common, ns2,... , create shortcut) then it does not give me a white paper shortcut but a shortcut with very bad resolution.

Anyone can help me create descent shortcut :s?

    create the shortcut from your steam game list. right click on the desktop shortcut and go to properties. from there, just change the icon (browse to your steam --> ns2 directory and select the icon) and hit OK.

    even without doing the above, the generic icon shortcut would still work.

    The steam icon is broken, the game works though.

    Steam does not create a good shortcut...

    Anyway i did like they said above and i have a good shortcut now but it is not 'sharp' (i mean: it is a bad quality image)
