Fps Problem...

<div class="IPBDescription">Fps are locked to multiples of 30.</div> I dont know why but my hl always locked my fps to 30 or 60 since i got my GeForce2 Mx200 64mb, i dont want to go out and buy a new video card....

It has done this in any game where hl is the engine. the fps will jump form 30 to 60, or 60 to 30 with out going anywhere inbetween...

Is this a hl command? anyone had this and know how to fixit?

Try fps_max 100.

I had the problem where it was locked to 30 fps, no higher.

I tried changing the fps_max value but it did nothing.

So I tried "fps_modem".

It worked <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo--> . Dont have a clue why, but now i get frame rates of around 60, but they do move <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

"fps_max" is for lan games

"fps_modem" is for online games.

Just to clear things up.
