Do we make res for getting kills?

i remembered in ns1 this was true. In ns2 theres points (+5 for a kill). Is this just score or do you make res?

This is only for your score. There is no res for kills.

There is "no res while dead" however.

We used to get res on a kill, some 40 or so builds ago, But it was horribly afffecting the balance of each map. Expecialy as all the alien loved to base rush at the begining of every map and give the marine a big bost in Pres early on and it wasnt a fair concept.

So the quick awnswer to you're question is no.

I have a gut feeling that this discussion has occurred many times over the course of NS2s development cycle.
