When aliens get upgrades they have them for free every time they spawn until the upgrade is destroyed. There is a large battle over this area that occurs in the mid game, but if aliens can keep teching up, cara, silence and leap are an amazing boost for skulks.
I also think Lerk spores are underused at the moment, they are basically 100% blinding and the damage is huge. Some may argue that the Lerk has become too much of a support role because it can be shotgunned quite easily, but spore a load of marines whilst your team mates are attacking and it is gg for the marines.
Also, why would the devs spend thousands of pounds on working on this stuff? Sounds like a waste of money.
Honestly (from a advisable pov) the best way to suggest ideas on these forums is think of the monetary cost of implementing something before suggesting it.
A new lifeform UWE would probably and happily do because it is a significant change, but working on loads of new art assets that cost a lot but they don't necessarily get a lot out of, waste of time.
