Favorites, Friends, and Server browser

I can't tell you how many times I've had games where I had an incredible amount of fun, but lacked any ability to "favorite" the game, while on the server. I'm not about to write down every server that I'm in, but if I'm on a server and I'm having a blast, please let me hit a button in the ESC menu that allows me to favorite it

In the same vein, servers are fun because of the people in them, and not being able to friend a fellow player or opponent and consequently be able to see when and where they are playing currently, is a huge detriment to my player experience.

To top this off, the server browser is fantastic in its functionality, but having a few extra tabs at the top of the menu will simplify things in the terms that I stated above. Having a "Favorites" and "Friends" tab at the top of the browser will be infinitely more useful and clearer than a "Favorites" checkbox piled among other utility-based checkboxes in the browser.

As a longtime Tremulous player, these changes would bring a lot to the table and make the game a lot funner! (Think: squads of friends!)

For sure. So far I've found game quality depends more on who's playing than where they're playing, so a "Friends" tab in the server browser, like the one in TF2, would be super useful for me. But there are a few servers that have good communities built around them too, and more ways to keep track on them would be great.

I just had to crtl alt delete out of a game cuz it froze.... i was pleased to find that when i loaded back in, i typed "retry" in console it reconnected me to that server! However it was full :( Would be nice to be able to add favorite by IP, or display recent servers you've been in, with a right click menu to add to favorites or join when a spot opens... etc.

For me im extremely picky about servers i play in, so when i find a good one it really takes away from the game if i lose track of it ....
