Confused about fan-fiction forum

<div class="IPBDescription">Where's the threads?</div>Sorry if this is stupid, but how does the fan fiction forum work? I can see a lot of posts there, but there aren't any threads to see. Are all the stories compiled into the story finder thread? How does this work? I don't want to waste time on writing no one can find.

    Unless I'm looking in the wrong place, I've only been able to find older fan fictions (maybe the newest was in 2009, but as far back as 2003 thus far) using the few fan fcition directories that I've come across.

    Of course that doesn't change the fact that they're pretty awesome, but too many good ones went unfinished, its frustrating seeing something potentially great that died many years ago.

    You need to change the thread falloff date at the bottom. If no one has posted in a thread for x amount of time (20 days I think?) it stops showing up. So just change the counter at the bottom to "show all" and enjoy!

    There are few or no threads because most players prefer playing to writing fairytales which few will read.

    There are 113 thousand views in the stickied fan fiction directory alone.

    You could certainly try to make the same argument against people who mod the game, and your post would still sound just as stupid.

    Well, I wrote a little something if you want to read it.. Just a little writing for fun.

    Unlike Bullet_Force has suggested, there are some people like me who actually enjoy writing for the sake of writing. I don't need to make a best-seller. Just have a little fun with some ideas and a keyboard.

    Sheckley hurried through the dark tunnel, welder in hand. It was only a matter of time before the entire sector went to hell, and everyone was counting on him.

    "Move faster," rasped the Commander. "Power. Need power!"

    Grimly, Sheckley vaulted over a railing and tumbled into a side passage. His breath burst from his lungs in a rhythm of sick desperation. He wondered if he was going to make it.

    Something large and heavy slammed into Sheckly's torso with a meaty thud. Sheckley panicked and drop-kicked the welder several meters away. The slimy beast dragged Sheckley into the ground and straddled on top of him. For a moment, Sheckley nearly screamed and threw the thing off, but instead he decided to go limp. The emergency lights flicked on, spilling blood-colored light over their deathly embrace. Sheckley's face gleamed with a hungering smile.

    "Oh, Gishyxx. It's only you," he whispered. And then they made sweet love, rolling across the bare metal floor in ecstasy.
