Exo Minigun Firing issue

This has happened to me quite a few time recently and I can't figure out why, it has never happened to me before.( in any of the previous versions of the game beta or otherwise) While in the dual mini gun exo I will hold down both mouse buttons to fire the guns and attack an alien, periodically releasing them to make sure I don't overheat. When I was being attacked I could not fire at the skulk at my feet the guns would whir up, then whir down, then whir up then whir down even though I was holding both mouse buttons down.
I proceeded to let go of mouse button 2 then Hold mouse button 1 and it still did the same thing Whir up then whir down over and over with no bullets being fired.
I can't quite figure it out, at most I was using two of the W A S or D keys + two mouse buttons that should only equal 4 concurrent inputs to the computer so I don't think it was an input limit problem like when you press too many keys on the keyboard at once so no more buttons work.
My mouse is a G9 Laser mouse fairly expensive model =o, it includes an always on feature which requires the mouse to never go into sleep mode.
Has anyone else noticed an issue with exosuits having the whir up whir down problem where no bullets are being fired? On occasion the whir up would last long enough for me to hear maybe 1 or 2 bullets fire then it would immediately whir down But I don't think any bullets actually fired because no dmg was done to the skulks.
I know if an onos hits a marine he stops firing/reloading and is forced to restart. The only thing hitting me was a skulk, I had no problem tracking him but the guns literally wouldn't fire. I know for a fact there were stints where the skulk wasn't hitting me (my hp was not going down) yet the guns still wouldn't shoot bullets.

it does sound like it could be a mouse problem though, if it's only occurring after simultaneous buttons held down. test your old mouse?
(if it only happened once then i would say lag/bug, but if it's recurring as you say then i'm sure i would have seen the same)
I will do some research into my mouse just to be sure, however It seems to me an engine bug perhaps.
