Is there/will there be a way to play audio files over the voice comm?

I have an urge to play <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WFY2kJ96jNY" target="_blank">THIS</a> over voice comm while wearing my black armour. :D

As long as I can permanently mute you, I don't care what you play over your Mic.

It happens in TF2 often, and its quite funny there. I'm not sure NS2 is the same mood though.

I'm thinking about using this for the readyroom. The place does need livening up.

The time it takes someone to mute you they could get killed or if people don't mute you they won't be able to hear enemies approaching or what the commander says

Definitely would be an instant kick on the servers I play on. . . probably a temp ban on others if you used it anywhere other than the ready room

Hi there, I'm not interested in griefing anyone. NS2 is serious business come gametime! Just want to have some fun in the readyroom.

There is software that streams audio into the input line, and it works perfectly. It costs money though, and it's a complicated setup... But the audio quality is even better than Skype!

As a general rule I only play sounds in the readyroom, never in the teams. :)

Sorry, I don't know of any free software. I looked and found this stuff which costs and then I stopped looking.

Man that brings back memories. The Half-Life Sound Selector. I used it all the time in NS1 ready rooms. I was younger then, so it was of course hilarious :)
