Natural Selection 2 crashing

<div class="IPBDescription">NS2 on startup crashes</div>Been having this issue with NS2 for the last week. I'll click on NS2 in steam and click play, then it opens a full black screen and doesn't load. If I do ALT-TAB I can see a debug for minidump.dmp and log.file. Any ideas on what could be going on?
