ROOKIE Promotion Suggestion

<div class="IPBDescription">Non-Green People Are Still Rookies</div>Can it be possible for green rookie mode to be removed only if they clocked a certain amount of hours (say 20)? Having a newbie get the option of taking rookie mode off before their first game doesn't really make rookie mode that useful. Not sure if you guys have a way of tracking the amount of hours someone has played and then giving them the option to remove rookie mode thereafter.

I'm assuming it's there so that the player can let their fellow players know they're new to the game if they should want. So, it's not there to be useful to everyone, just the rookie, in a way as to let others know that they're most likely in need of assistance, as opposed to flaming. I removed rookie mode after a couple of matches the next day I launched the game, because I've played NS1 inconsistently for many years. If anything, rookie mode should be activated and kept activated from the start and automatically be deactivated after e.g. 20 hours of playtime with no option to turn it on or off.

Rookie mode turns itself off after 4 hours, and can be turned off in the options menu. (I don't know if it can be turned back on after those 4 hours though. Never tried.)

As a new player who has logged 50 hours in the game I don't feel like 4 hours is anything close to enough to learn enough to remove the "rookie" setting. I've never even touched the commander chair and I don't really know how to use all of the aliens. I'm sure some are quicker learners, but after 50 hours I still feel it would be appropriate for my name to show in green.

Try going into options and setting rookie mode back on? Again, I've never really tried to do that so I don't know if it works or not, but it'd be worth a shot.
