If you have not already obtained a copy of MOHAA, get one! This is the best single player game that I have played since Half-Life. And I'm hardcore, so trust me on this one.

Ehhh, a lot of people woulnd't agree with you on that. I say it is a solid game, but nothing ground-breaking, earth-shattering Half-Life style JK II is much more worht your money!

well I plyaed the multiplaer demo and the sp one, and I think DoD is way better, if it only had a sp part...

the multiplayer for MOH:AA is really balanced, teamwork and communication is the key here! you could win a map 2 allied and 7 axis, if you played your cards right... anyone CAN kill anyone whether noob or veteran... well, maybe not noob, but still, one shotgun blast, and its the spectator mode for you, bucko!

although i love the panzerschrek and bazooka! very fun playing, and you blast 5 axis, as they go flying... brings a tear up to my eye

and then to reply: that was a BLAST, ticks them off, then my sniper friend take care of the rest!

if only there were more maps for MOH:AA, and its coming out with an Add-ON expansion!! sp is really good (especially the omaha beach level) that level is insane! especially on hard!

Ewwwww dude the multiplayer MoH:AA sucked really bad. It was laggy deathmatch. I will agree though that single player is a blast. Im stuck on the German Sniper level in the bombed-out city. But ill stick to DoD for WW2 multiplayer

the game has been updated since the beginnin', pluss it aint lag on every server.

just noticed that omaha beach is almost identical whit the way save privat ryan made it.

and imagine a "not-crashed-down" version of the bridge ion save privat ryan, well there you have "the bridge" in MOH:AA its ecven the same damn mission!

That would be "Ramelle" In Day of Defeat, and I think that any game using Gamespy as a multiplayer catalyst is horrible, and laggy.

you have beach maps in DoD 2.0 ...
Check DoD out, I'm sure you'll like it more then MOH, at least I did...

there has been a update now, which means that you can do it in-the-game.

thanks for the advice, spectacor, but the last time i played DOD, my computer broke down, had to be repaired.
I was whitout a PC for three weeks, and i SURVIVED!

whaddya mean Mp sucks? obviously, you must look at it not just DeathMatch! try objective Based maps, or TeamDeathMatch Maps.. thye are all good, i just want more maps!

DoD is OK... but MOH:AA is in my opinion, much more better

just look at it more on the MP side, its almost like RTCW...

DOD is definitely the best mod for HL. Also, due to the lamo 56Kness, I have yet to try MOHAA MP style. The single-player is great, though. Good plots, lots of action, very realistic. Also, thanks to the Q3 engine, the game looks beautiful on my machine. There's a little chop no-and-then, but not too bad overall.

even tho I don't own my own copy of the game I can easily say MoH:AA is pretty much the best game I've ever played, next to Halo. And the multi-player is no-where near a frag-fest, at least when playing team-based maps. And infector, Gamespy is great software. I use it all the time for every game I own, except HL.

EDIT: JKII rocks

IMHO... MOHAA is a very fun game... single player. The only thing MOH has in multi that I like is FFA Deathmatch. Nothing like running around with an stg 44. DoD has it beat for objective based missions, bigtime. MOH is choppy and laggy, there just seems to be more team coordination within DoD.

yah, DoD has more team co-op than one would expect in pubby servers.

yes, if it was the DM you meant when you sayd that MP sucked, i totaly agree.

there is nothing more boring than walking around in some sunny village in france, where sniping aint even possible.

the cool stuff is obj. maps, and TDM4

Well guys, I was LANing for the past few days, so I got in some mad MOHAA action. My reactions are good. I believe DOD is a better game, overall, but I do enjoy the power of the Q3 engine. The DM is pretty lame, so we played team-based DM for most of the time. The game comes with too few maps, although all of them are beautiful.
• executorexecutor Join Date: 2002-02-01 Member: 146Members
except that sunny france thing....

Cremator, I agree with you 100%. The few maps MOH has are done beautifully, I'm a big fan of the 'rocket level' not sure what the hell it's called, but I love it. If only there were more.
