Exosuit and another suggestion

<div class="IPBDescription">Getting out of Exos, Not Rookie Filter</div>So, real quick. (I'm low on time)
Basically, the ability to step out of an exo by pressing a button. (G?)
Also, for the server filters, you could add a Filter for NON rookie servers. (so only rookie servers are shown) since I know the opposite exists.
Sorry if these things are already planned and I just didn't read something I should have, but just needed to put this out here anyway cause it was bugging me :)

Thanks for reading,
Unifel

i thought of that as well.
People could weld them selve's. This could be a downside.
On the other hand your vulnerable when doing that.

    might be worth testing

You drop your stuff when stepping into an EXO, so that negates the "weld your own EXO" bit, either you'd need an armory and buy a new one or the command has to keep dropping you one. It would open up options to help with setting up a base when your team is down though...

    Oh, Didn't know that...
Perhaps that could be changed too? (don't see a reason for it...)

one problem i've seen online is that everyone dies except for a few exo's - and then there nobody left to rebuild / get the power back up and its instant game over.
So here it would be cool to be able to get out of your exo to save the team - perhaps even at the cost of damaging the exo

Question: - could a gorge hijack the empty exo? :P (crang from TMNT anyone?)

I would be fine with this, as long as when they got out they didn't have any weapons at all. If they wanted to pick them up from a dead marine, cool, but allowing rines to get out of exo's fully decked out with welders is a little much. I could see it. Jet packer in an exo. Before exo dies, he gets out and jet packs around killing the aliens then welds his exo, gets back in, and owns up some more. The exo is so small and tight for a rine, it only makes since they wouldn't have any room for extra equipment.

Maybe just a pistol is kept with them?
And no, no one would be able to hijack. No Alien, anyway. Other humans could obviously take it :)

at the very least would be good to have an ejection seat that launches you out before the thing explodes. even if you are weaponless you can still build

    How about this....

Marine exits the exo with no weapons but his melee and no armor. Cuz like it was stated above it would be a slap in the face if a marine was to exit a dying exo and be fully decked out with a jet pack and grenade launcher. If they are gonna do that, how about let a dying Onos exit its skin and have half health with additional speed or let skulks stick to the exos back or let gorges build on them.

Yeah this would be good. You can have a pistol and melee slots only, and the animation to leave is fairly slow.

Jetpacks look too big to fit, as do most the weapons. Plus the obvious balancing issues of people just ejecting mid battle with a jetpack/grenade launcher.

Yep. Agree completely. This would definitely make me happy :D

This I disagree with. That would suck for aliens (I play both) and would take away from the game. If the Exo has been hurt recently (idk, 15 seconds or something) then it would have a safety lock, and would say so on bottom left of screen in a little warning sign. Also as said above, getting out would take a lot of time.
